Carol (Keith's mom) sets up three hunts. One for the walking babies, one for the kiddos and one for the adults. I swear we are generally the only ones with walking babies, but this year there was three (almost four)! Leo got to go first. He was pretty timid at first and just pointed at the eggs for me to go and get them for him.
He caught on pretty quickly. And yes, my arms are seriously that long.
Oh that little Leo is just the cutest, I swear. He learned a new word that weekend, "treat." The whole car ride home he went, "Mamamamam, treat!" It was super cute and super annoying at the same time.
The other kids were so very patient while they watching the babes' gather their eggs.
These pictures are out of order, but I don't care. That night all of us adults decided we wanted to go to the Hunger Games. I actually quite liked it. My husband got the brilliant idea to sneak in Chinese food. It smelled amazing in there. My husband, he is quite the piece of work, I tell ya.
Oops, out of order again. Sweet Cole fell asleep on Keith. He wasn't feeling very well. And Keith can never visit his mom's house without taking a 4 hour long nap, I'm not sure why.
Back to the hunt, Keith's mom gives all of us a list with the eggs and toys we are supposed to pick up. We still have to help our kiddos because they can't read yet. I love that all the kids get equal amounts and it isn't a "Hunger Games" Easter hunt.
The first year they did the hunt, this little guy was in my belly. I can't believe we have now done it six times!
For the record, no one beats Cousin Isaac. He is the best cousin in the whole entire world. I ask his parents if I can have him on a regular basis. He is now a teenager, so I may just get my wish.
It is true that I have a reputation for getting the biggest prize every year. Pretty much everyone is jeal of my mad hunting skills. This year I didn't get the biggest prize, but I got second. $50.00 ya'll! Oh how I love the Easter Egg Hunt! And check out my $3.00 sunglasses.
Check out that bag of loot. Now do you see why I don't do anything for Easter? I am such a lame mom I guess. Maybe next year, I will buy the blazers and vests.

How fun! We did an adult easter egg hunt this year at my mom's house and it was SO MUCH FUN!!! :)
haha! That post cracked me up! Blazers and vest are hot. Especially on little "big" boys. Don't feel too bad, I am lame when it comes to Easter. Every year I say I am going to get more into it, and I fail. Miserably. But my girls don't know any better, so it's all good and they are happy with whatever they get. :) That is so fun that your MIL does that for the adults too!
i barely do anything for easter either. i just figure that is something other people can make a big deal out of. i seriously put like 3 things in their baskets.
